Asymptomatic plasma cell endometritis is discussed in detail as it relates to the risk of preterm labor. Dr. Gopalani is involved in ongoing research which he describes. His research is aimed at illucidating the relationiship between these two entities. Dr. Gopalani is a perinatal fellow at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington.
